Professional Yoga Therapy Services for Healthcare and Community Organizations
Tula Yoga Therapy partners with healthcare providers, care managers, home-care organizations, senior communities, clinics, nonprofits, and other community organizations to provide accessible yoga therapy and mindfulness services.
Offerings may be provided at Tula Yoga Studio in Logan Square, in clients’ homes, at partner locations, or remotely when appropriate.
Services for Healthcare and Community Partners
Individual Yoga Therapy Referrals
One-to-one yoga therapy using accessible movement, breathing practices, mindfulness, relaxation, and education. Sessions are adapted around each client’s needs, abilities, goals, and existing care.
In-Home Yoga Therapy
Individualized sessions for people who may find travel difficult because of changes in mobility, chronic illness, neurological conditions, recovery, aging, or caregiving circumstances.
Workshops and Professional Education
Customized workshops and consultations related to accessible yoga, trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, caregiver well-being, healthy aging, and the professional role of yoga therapy.
Group Programs
Accessible yoga, chair-supported movement, mindfulness, stress reduction, caregiver support, and healthy-aging programs for clients, residents, members, caregivers, or staff.

A partnership may begin with one referral, a pilot program, a workshop, or an ongoing service agreement.
A Professional and Collaborative Approach
Services are individualized, accessible, trauma-informed, and designed to complement appropriate medical, rehabilitation, and mental-health care.
Practices may be adapted for chairs, standing, mats, beds, mobility devices, different energy levels, and a wide range of abilities.
When appropriate and authorized by the client, communication may be coordinated with care managers, caregivers, or referring professionals.
Yoga therapy does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, physical therapy, or other licensed healthcare services.
